Hippo Water Front lies 10km from Nelspruit, capital of the Mpumalanga Province. The Lodge is situated on rolling lawns on the bank of the "Crocodile River" which forms the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. The sub-tropical climate gives the Lodge a delightful setting in a lush countryside, filled with trees, flowers, fruits and nuts.
The Lodge is near all major attractions in the Lowveld, like Blyde River Canyon, Gods window, Pilgrims Rest, Sudwala caves, Sabie and the Kruger
National Park. Clean and comfortable en-suite cabins (with communal kitchen and living area) as well as self-catering chalets are available. Visits by the rivers resident hippos and abundant bird live contribute to a peaceful and tranquil stay at Hippo water front.
Breakfast and dinner buffets are served in the dining area here every day. The sundowner bar and the communal lounge which is open to all guests has comfortable easy chairs and satellite, colour TV.
