Turaco Country House is situated in the heart of the Garden Route, on a hill above the seaside village of Wilderness, on 10 hectares of private land, only 2km from the beach, in a most beautiful and tranquil setting with magnificent panoramic sea and mountain views.

The charming beach house provides luxury accommodation in 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 en suite) with fully equipped open plan kitchen and spacious living areas with satelite TV and fireplace. All rooms are sea facing and individually decorated in a unique marine theme with sliding doors leading onto a big patio with barbeque facilities and furnished with wooden tables and chairs.

Enjoy spectacular sunsets and peaceful silence from the wooden deck surrounded by indigenous bush with lots of birdlife where you might even spot the elusive Knysna Loerie or watch dolphins surfing the waves.

We are centrally situated and close to many excellent golf courses and the ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route. Knysna (50km), Plettenberg Bay (80km), Outdshoorn (80km) and Mosselbay (60km). Private and secure parking is available and all rooms are serviced daily.
